HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY TEAGAN! WE LOVE YOU.

So this year Stacy and Greg and the kids are here from Alaska and since Teagan and Kassy's birthdays are 3 weeks apart, we decided to have a joint 4th birthday party for the both of them. Kassy really likes Cars and Teags likes Cars too so we had a Lightning McQueen party for them. Stacy made them each a Lightning McQueen cake and did an awesome job on them. It turned out nice. With all of our families combined it can turn into a huge ordeal.

I can't believe my Teags is already 4. How fun and adventurous his first four years have been. He keeps us on our toes as an active little man. He has such a sweet spirit and we love him so much. Even though he can be pretty loud sometimes he is all worth it. Love you Teagey Man.

Sickness!

Okay so we have been in Oregon now for about a week and a half. I don't have any pictures yet because we have been battling bronchitis, double ear infections and strep throat. Yuck!!! Our whole family has been on amoxycillan. Teagan just started on meds today so hopefully in a few days we will all be back to normal and we can enjoy Oregon a little more. As most of you knew we were trying to get an apartment management job. Well we hurried up here because they told Craig that we had it and now they are giving us run arounds. It's not that we don't have it, its just that they haven't fired the other people or something. The guy said that it could be a week or six weeks. It's like um okay. Anyway, of course ya it would be nice to be in our own placem but we are happy at Travis and Cari's for now. We have moved into two of their rooms and are doing just great. So for now, Craig is just working alot and we're trying to find another apartment management job in the mean time because we don't know if we can rely on these people, even though they are the biggest property management company up here. Anyway, Travis and Cari love having us and they are so good with the boys. Teagan loves it here and loves Travis and Cari. Cari is very good with him and he has actually mellowed out a little more. Lets see. We've broken a bad habit of Teagan's since we've been here. Yes he no longer sleeps in the bed with us. Teagan has also starting to get really good with his letters. He can sound out each letter when he looks at them. Oh, how could I forget that Kieran has been walking since like a week before his birthday. But now he is walking a lot more but not all the time yet. He also got another molar while we've been here. So far we really love it up here. It's beautiful and clean air. It has only rained two days and the rest have been all sunny. Oh it did snow this morning. Anyway, this is whats going on for now. I'll get some pics up soon. We love you and of course miss you.

I can't believe my baby is one already. He has been such a blessing in our home. He has such a sweet spirit. He's a very mellow baby(well until there is food around). We had a puppy party for him with all his family and a few friends. We even had family from out of town so it really turned into a big group. Thank goodness for my dad's shop.

So we took Teagan up to Alta Sierra for his first time learning to ski. For whatever reason I dont have any pics of him on his ski's. My mother-in-law must have them. I did get him on video a few times. He did pretty good for his first time. He kept wanting to get on the ski lift. Anyway we went up with Craig, Cheryl, Chad, Jessica, Alana, Johnathan, Chelsea, Jason and Justin. It was a way fun day and thank you mom for watching Kieran.

Christmas

As our tradition we always are with Craigs family Christmas Eve and then we spend Christmas day with my family. We had a great Christmas 2008.

Thanksgiving

So for Thanksgiving, me, the boys and my mom went up to visit my granparents in Idaho. My Grandpa Read ended up in the hospital a week or so before Thanksgiving and I decided that I really needed to get up there and see them. So we drove up to Utah in one day and stayed with my aunt and uncle and then 2 days later we drove up to Idaho to spend Thanksgiving day with them. We had Thanksgiving dinner in the hospital with them and then we spent the night and headed back to Utah because it was really hard to keep them down at the hospital all day. So we had a good visit with my grandparents and Uncle Doug, Uncle Bruce and my cousin Adam.

As you can see here they are in the lobby and theres only so much you can do with two little boys.

One night when we were in Utah we decided to go see the Christmas lights at Temple Square in Salt Lake. Before we took the boys to Uncle Bret's Fire Station. The boys had so much fun on fire trucks.

Overall it was a great trip besides the flu everyone caught right before we left and on our way back to California.

Oregon here we come!

Okay so I know I haven't posted in a very long time. But you see it has been crazy around here. Around the first part of December we decided that we were moving to Oregon. With a lot of praying we knew that is where we were supposed to be at this time in our lives right now. So Craig left Jan. 5 and has been there finding us a place to live. We are going to be managing apartments again to get us established there. We're really excited for our new adventure. So that is it for now. I will get pics up soon as soon as we can get a little settled.

Survivor

So I guess we are a little behind. Well lets see we survived October. HA! Craig went to Oregon and Hawaii for 12 days, for business. That is why I said we survived. We missed him lots and lots. Teagan was so excited when we went and picked up his Daddy.

Here's where I guess our beach house is going to look out too. BEAUTIFUL! For those of you who can't get the information correct. This is where we WILL have a beach house ONE day.

Some how got out of order but here is Teagan as a pirate for Halloween. He always wants to be in his pirate outfit.

So after we picked up Craig from the airport we decided to take the boys to the LA Zoo. They enjoyed it alot.

We liked the monkeys the best. There were tons of monkeys and apes.

This guy cracked me up!

It was a fun day and we are happy to have Daddy back.

So for halloween we started out with going to Trunk or Treat in my parents ward. Teagan had a lot of fun and even when in the haunted house. Then on Halloween night we went over to Shawn and Lisa's for a party. We started out by taking the boys to trick or treat. Then the adults we played a murder mystery game. We all got a person we were supposed to play earlier on in the week and we had to know about our character when we came to the party. Well some people didnt show up and so I got a new person. Well my person ended up being the murderer. WOW! Well I think I did pretty good on making noone knew it was me. I think only one or two people suspected it was me. So that was really fun.

Kieran as a pirate and we actually managed to keep his hat on the whole time.

Kieran now has 4 teeth. Two on the bottom and two on top. His two on the top are so funny. they have this big gap and they look like little billy bob teeth or something.

When Daddy was gone he also learned how to crawl and crawl upstairs in one week. So now he is getting bruises. Oh the fun. Oh and he is now getting into everything. Here Teagan gave him the bag of pretzels and he managed to dump them all out and start chewing on them. Little stinker. He is still the best little guy ever. Very calm and happy. Just entertains himself.

So that was our October. Now we are already almost half way through November. I am really going to try and do better.

So I went in to check on Kieran the other morning and this is what he was doing. We need to put the crib down a little bit, because the next day I was getting Teagan's clothes on and I looked over and Kieran had pulled himself up and was standing there looking at us. Aghh! He's not quite crawling yet but he is pulling himself up already.

Fair time! We took the boys to the fair last night. It was a lot of fun with the boys. Teagan especially had so much fun. I guess going and doing things with him are a lot more fun now because he can express himself and tell us what he likes. Where as when we went to Disneyland, Sea World, various zoos, and the fair before he couldn't tell us anything because he was too young to talk. I just can't believe how fast time goes by and they grow up so fast. Okay so anyway, when we went to the fair we got Teagan a wristband to ride the rides but of course he wasn't quite tall enough to ride all of them by himself so that meant I had to get a wristband also so that he could ride them. $60 later. Ya craziness. I would rather go to Disneyland for that price. Needless to say he had a blast. He loved the animals also. But for some reason we didn't take pics of him with the animals. Oh well. So here are a few pics to show our fun night.

This was a tiny little Farris wheel. It was so cute. And he loved it.

He insisted that he was going to throw the balls into the bowls. The prize was fish. We didn't really want to do it just because we really didn't want any fish. But we figured he probably wouldn't get any balls in the bowls. Haha were we wrong, three balls later this is what we came home with.

We went on the big Farris wheel too.

After a long night we headed home and he didn't even make it home awake. He was passed out and slept until like 10 this morning.

Alright everyone. So this is what I have been doing for the last 3 weeks. I have been addicted. I didn't really ever read during the day unless the boys were asleep. I would seriously just stay up all night reading. I couldn't put them down. I have never really been a reader so this is amazing to me. I loved these books. It was like I was watching a movie the whole time. I was actually very pleased in the way Stephanie Meyer ended the series. I am sad to hear that the 5th book won't be written. I am sad that I am done reading them actually so if anyone has any suggestions on what to read next. Remember I have never really been a reader until now. I would definetely recommend this book to everyone. In fact I already have. So if you haven't read them I suggest you do. Definetly worth your while.

Rest of Summer

Okay so bear with me. I know it is alot of pics and they're a little out of order but hey I was having fun with this.

So Shawn, Lisa, Dudey and Sadie were sealed together as a family in August.
Through out all of the summer I coached a travel 16 under softball team named the Bakersfield Rebels. I coached with some amazing people who I have made lifetime friends. We traveled to Fresno, Tulare, West Covina, Laguna Hills, and San Diego. It was alot of fun and we'll be playing in one tournament in October.

Okay so Grandma Irish had a sleepover with Teagan and Kassy. They had fun but by morning time the kids were sleeping with their mommies.

They decided that their cars needed a car wash. LOL!
We went the the spray park here in town that is wonderful. It's a free day and the kids have so much fun.

We went to the beach for 3 days and had a blast with the kids.

They love sharing with each other. They really are so good with each other.

Ya Teagan doesn't like to be buried. We think he is clasterphobic.

So this was our craziness of a summer. It was way fun and eventful though. We can't wait to see the Beesley fam again. Now I am really going to try getting on here and blogging every week.

Summer 08

So way back earlier in the year we found out that Stacy, Kassy and Simon were going to be coming to California. The only people who didn't know were Mom and Dad Irish. LOL! And we seriously kept it from them the whole time. There were a few times that we almost slipped and said something but it was a success. They got here a week after Sadie was born. Mom and Dad were so surprised when they walked through that door. Teagan was so excited to see his Kassy. He was just telling her everything. It was pretty cute. Right then they restarted their special little bond and were inseparable from there on out. I will have more pics up soon of their stay. I am trying to collect them from my sister-in-laws. I know like you haven't seen enough pics. But that is part of our memorable summer.

When the boys and I were at the beach our sweet little Sadie Nicole finally decided to come into this world. Look at all of that hair. So sweet. Our family sure has cute babies.

Then Heather and Bret got a beach house over in Cayucous, so the boys and I went over for a few days. Wow did they have a blast. Teagan loves his cousins. He just kept saying, "my cousins." He would ever call them by their names. We sure do miss them and wish we lived closer to each other.
Kieran even loved it. Can't you tell. He's eating the sand.

Summer 08

Then Teagan started swimming lessons with Alli. He loved it so much. He loved Alli. He never wanted to leave. He did very well. He's still practicing and trying to put the legs and arms together at the same time. He either does one or the other.

Then Heather, Bret, Sondra and the boys came to visit from Utah. Look how much fun cousins have together. Here's all of them minus Kieran. From left to right: Ethan(5), Bryson(18 months), Teagan(3), and Gavin(3).
While they were here Teagan got ahold of the sideburn clippers and here is the result. Agghhhh! Is was kind of upsetting but all we could do was laugh.

So here is how we started out our summer. We just went over to Pismo for the day with Grandma Irish. Teagan loved the water and the sand. But mostly the water. He has no fear. He was out to where it was past his waist. We had so much fun.

First One!

So here I am. I thought I better get in with the trend. I am going to try to get on here at least once a week to keep our family and friends updated with our busy life. So I am just going to give you an update on the boys for my first blog.

Here's our Teagan. He's 3 now. He is our strong willed little boy, with a special little spirit. Good thing he is so darn cute with the cutest smile. We love him to pieces even though he keeps us on our toes with all his little adventures. He weighs about 34 lbs. and is about 37 in. He's gettting so big. Looks just like his daddy. He had spikey hair like his daddy until just recently he got ahold of his uncles sideburn trimmers. We had to shave it all off. LOL!
Then there's Kieran. Our sweet little boy. He is 7 months old now. How time flies. He weighs 18 lbs is about 27 1/2 in. He is looking more and more like his brother. His personality is definetely different than his brother. I think Heavenly Father blessed us with that. He is just a very mellow and easy going baby. He is sitting up on his own and trying to crawl. He is such a joy in our lives.
Our boys just love each other. Teagan is very protective of his baby brother. He just can't wait until Kieran gets older and bigger so they can play and wrestle with each other. He already tries and Kieran is so good and just puts up with it. He'll definetely be ready by the time he gets a little bigger. Craig and I are just so grateful for these two special little boys in our lives. They bring love and joy to us everyday.
